There are times when life’s changes are unexpected, unpredictable and unmanageable. Recognizing this can be overwhelming, however it is monumental first step. Taking the time to talk about these challenges takes courage and may require help. No matter what you are battling with: changing relationships, difficult emotions or significant life events, working together we will determine what you need and how to move towards your best life. I focus on providing a safe, encouraging and collaborative place to navigate life’s changes and challenges.
Approaching all topics with kindness, empathy and compassion is essential to the work I do. It is important to me that a person’s uniqueness is recognized and celebrated throughout the therapy process. I incorporate various therapeutic techniques that best fit your specific needs to promote your path to healing and growth.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma related disorders. I work with adult individuals, children and families that may be experiencing a time of transition, current or past trauma, interpersonal conflict and a variety of life’s other challenges.
I completed my Bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and my Masters degree from the University of St. Thomas in Counseling Psychology.
I am working under the supervision of an Independently Licensed Supervisor while I work towards completing the requirements for independent licensure.
