Are you hurting or is someone you love hurting? Have you experienced something that keeps bothering you? Are you struggling with communication with a partner, family member or friend? Is your child acting up, struggling in school, getting mad easily, or having lots of worries?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are not alone. These are just a few of the many reasons people seek out therapy. Working with children, adolescents, adults and families, I explore each person’s strengths, struggles, needs, and goals. Honoring each person’s identity and story, I listen with curiosity and without judgement. Focusing on your wisdom, strengths, and life experiences, I will work in partnership with you to discover what you need to heal.

Whether I’m working with you or your child, I will use a variety of tools to meet your needs, including mindfulness and guided imagery, art, play, movement, books, and humor. In addition to an array of therapeutic techniques, I have specialized training in EMDR, which is a type of therapy that helps people heal from past experiences while decreasing negative and mixed-up self-beliefs, emotions and body sensations.
