Allison Nimlos, B.A.

When life changes suddenly, it can leave us feeling depressed, anxious and confused. If you are having difficulty integrating new changes into the story of your life, I can help. I listen to understand the transition that has left your world spinning and together we will process your experience and build coping strategies to help you feel empowered and in control of your life. Sometimes people experience depression and anxiety without a known trigger or event. I can also help during these difficult and frustrating times.  I here to provide support to individuals, families, and couples (including pre-marital counseling).

I am also passionate about helping families and individuals adjust to a new life of chronic illness. My personal interest in this comes from living with type 1 diabetes for almost 25 years.

I am under the licensed supervision of Cheryl Troxel, LMFT, as I complete my graduate degree and work towards obtaining my clinical licensure.
